Art. 971 I. Party requesting cancellation

1 A negotiable security that has been lost may be cancelled by the court800.

2 Cancellation may be requested by the beneficiary of the instrument at the time it was lost or its loss was discovered.

800 Term in accordance with No I of the FA of 19 June 2020 (Company Law), in force since 1 Jan. 2023 (AS 2020 4005; 2022 109; BBl 2017 399). This amendment has been made in the provisions specified in the AS.

Art. 968 1. Form

1 Die Indossierung erfolgt in allen Fällen nach den Vorschriften über den Wechsel.

2 Das ausgefüllte Indossament gilt in Verbindung mit der Übergabe der Urkunde als genügende Form der Übertragung.
