1 Mit dem Zeitpunkt des Inkrafttretens dieses Gesetzes sind alle damit in Widerspruch stehenden frühern Erlasse aufgehoben.

2 Aufgehoben sind insbesondere das Bundesgesetz vom 23. Dezember 1880101 betreffend Kontrollierung und Garantie des Feingehaltes der Gold- und Silberwaren mit Zusatzgesetz vom 21. Dezember 1886102 sowie das Bundesgesetz vom 17. Juni 1886103 betreffend den Handel mit Gold- und Silberabfällen.

1 On commencement of this Act, all previous enactments that are contradictory to the provisions hereof are repealed.

2 In particular, the Federal Act of 23 December 1880101 on the Assaying and Guarantee of the Fineness of Gold and Silver Articles and the Supplementary Act of 21 December 1886102 as well as the Federal Act of 17 June 1886103 on the Trade in Gold and Silver Waste Products are repealed.
