Die amtliche Prüfung ist durch schriftliches Gesuch beim zuständigen Kontrollamt zu beantragen. Zur Prüfung sind nur Waren zuzulassen, die die Angabe eines gesetzlichen Feingehalts und die Verantwortlichkeitsmarke tragen. Die amtliche Prüfung wird durch die amtliche Stempelung bezeugt.
The official control is applied for by written application to the relevant Assay Office. Only articles bearing a legal fineness mark and the responsibility mark may be controlled. The official control is certified by the official hallmark.
