Art. 43a Umweltzeichen und Umweltmanagement

1 Der Bundesrat kann Vorschriften erlassen über die Einführung:

a.
eines freiwilligen Systems für ein Umweltzeichen (Ökolabel);
b.
eines freiwilligen Systems zur Bewertung und Verbesserung des betrieblichen Umweltschutzes (Umwelt-Management und ‑Audit).

2 Er berücksichtigt dabei das internationale Recht und die international anerkannten technischen Normen.

Art. 43a Eco-labelling and environmental management

1 The Federal Council may issue regulations on the introduction of:

a.
a voluntary system for an environmental label («eco-label»);
b.
a voluntary system for the evaluation and improvement of environmental protection in establishments (environmental management and auditing).

2 In so doing, it must take account of international law and internationally recognised technical standards.
