1 Händler müssen dokumentieren, von welchem Zulieferer sie Holz oder Holzerzeugnisse bezogen und an welchen Abnehmer sie diese weitergegeben haben; der Bundesrat kann für weitere von ihm nach Artikel 35e Absatz 3 bezeichnete Rohstoffe und Produkte eine solche Dokumentationspflicht festlegen.
2 Jede Person, die Holz oder Holzerzeugnisse an den Konsumenten abgibt, muss die Holzart und die Herkunft des Holzes deklarieren. Der Bundesrat bestimmt das Holz und die Holzerzeugnisse, für die diese Deklarationspflicht gilt.
1 Traders must document the supplier from which they have obtained timber or wood products and the purchaser to which they have supplied them; the Federal Council may impose a documentation requirement for timber or wood products and other raw materials and products that it specifies pursuant to Article 35e paragraph 3.
2 Any person who supplies timber or wood products to consumers must declare the type of timber and its origin. The Federal Council shall determine the timber and wood products to which this declaration obligation applies.
