1 Das SBFI kann Forschungsorgane, Organisationen und Unternehmen mit Sitz in der Schweiz über die vom Bund unterstützten Aktivitäten bezüglich internationaler Programme und Projekte informieren und sie bei der Erarbeitung und Einreichung von Gesuchen beraten.
2 Es kann Beiträge ausrichten an nichtkommerzielle Institutionen und Organisationen für die Informations- und Beratungstätigkeiten nach Artikel 29 Absatz 1 Buchstabe f FIFG.
3 Für die Beiträge nach Absatz 2 legt es in den Verträgen oder Verfügungen einen jährlichen Höchstbetrag im Rahmen der verfügbaren Mittel fest. Dabei berücksichtigt es die Personal-, Miet- und Sachkosten, die in Zusammenhang mit der Informations- und Beratungstätigkeit stehen, sowie andere Mittelzuflüsse der öffentlichen Hand oder Dritter.
4 Beiträge werden jeweils für höchstens vier Jahre gewährt. Eine oder mehrere Verlängerungen der Unterstützung um jeweils höchstens vier Jahre sind möglich. Vor jeder Verlängerung wird die Berechtigung überprüft.

1 SERI may inform research bodies, organisations and businesses based in Switzerland on activities supported by the Confederation relating to international programmes and projects and advise them on the development and submission of applications.
2 It may make contributions to non-commercial institutions and organisations for the purpose of information and advisory activities under Article 29 paragraph 1 letter f RIPA.
3 For the contributions referred to in paragraph 2, an annual maximum limit determined on the basis of available funding shall be specified in the contracts or decisions. This limit shall include payroll, rental and material costs associated with the information and advisory activities as well as any other funding sourced from the public sector or third parties.
4 Funding contributions are allocated for a maximum of four years at a time. Single or multiple extensions of funding covering no more than four years at a time is also possible. Eligibility shall be verified before each extension.
