Art. 1 Zuständigkeit

1 Der Vollzug der Verwaltungsaufgaben, die sich aus dem MSchG ergeben, und der Vollzug dieser Verordnung sind Sache des Eidgenössischen Instituts für Geistiges Eigentum (IGE)5.6

2 Ausgenommen sind die Artikel 70–72 MSchG und die Artikel 54–57 dieser Verordnung, deren Vollzug dem Bundesamt für Zoll und Grenzsicherheit (BAZG)7 obliegt.

5 Die Bezeichnung der Verwaltungseinheit wurde in Anwendung von Art. 16 Abs. 3 der Publikationsverordnung vom 17. Nov. 2004 (AS 2004 4937) angepasst. Die Anpassung wurde im ganzen Text vorgenommen.

Art. 1 Responsibility

1 The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) is responsible for carrying out the administrative duties stipulated in the TmPA and for implementing this Ordinance5.6

2 Excluded from this are Articles 70–72 TmPA and Articles 54–57 of this Ordinance. The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS)7 is responsible for their implementation.
